Linear · convex · phased-array · endocavitary · TEE · 3D/4D — quote after free diagnosis
Rongtao Medical repairs defective ultrasound transducers for distributors, refurbishers and hospital biomedical teams — independently of the OEM. A failed probe rarely needs replacement: element dropout, lens delamination, cable wear, connector damage and 4D motor faults are all repairable at a fraction of the price of a new or exchange transducer.
Every repaired probe is verified on a live compatible system before it ships back. If a probe is not economically repairable, we say so at the diagnosis stage and can quote a tested replacement from stock instead.
Five steps, no diagnosis fee, no repair-or-buy pressure
01Send symptom + photosProbe model, system model, the on-screen symptom and clear photos of lens, cable, connector and label.
02Free remote diagnosisA senior engineer confirms whether the fault is probe-side or system-side — no charge, no obligation.
03QuoteFixed quote per probe after assessment. No repair, no fee beyond return shipping.
04Repair + real-machine testElement-level repair, lens or cable rebuild, then verification on a live compatible system before release.

If repair isn't the answer, the parts inventory usually is
The questions distributors and biomedical engineers ask before sending a transducer in.
01
Can a defective ultrasound transducer actually be repaired?
In most cases, yes. Element dropout, lens delamination, cable and strain-relief wear, connector damage and 4D motor faults are all standard repairs. Crystal-array replacement is quoted case by case; if a probe is beyond economic repair we tell you at the free diagnosis stage.
02
Which brands of ultrasound probes do you repair?
GE, Philips, Siemens, Hitachi, Aloka, Toshiba/Canon, Mindray, Samsung Medison, Esaote and SuperSonic probes, including 3D/4D volumetric and TEE designs. If your OEM isn't listed, send the model — the constructions are similar across brands.
03
How do I know if the fault is the probe or the machine?
Test the probe on another port and, if possible, another system; test a known-good probe on the same port. Share the results with us — the free remote diagnosis isolates probe-side from system-side faults before anything ships.
04
Can I mail in a probe from outside China?
Yes. The mail-in workflow serves 140+ countries and regions. We provide packing guidance — rigid case, lens protection, connector cap — plus export-compliant paperwork and insured return shipping.
05
What does probe repair cost compared to replacement?
Typical repairs run at a fraction of a new or OEM-exchange transducer. Because diagnosis is free, you can compare the repair quote against a tested replacement from our stock before deciding.
Have a probe on the bench right now?
Send the probe model, system model, symptom and photos — a senior engineer responds the same business day.
